Yesterday we did martial arts we learnt how to focus in martial arts.We tried really listened to our instructor at martial arts and we can't wait for next week We are going to become black belt’s!!!

fidget spinners

I  think fidget spinners should be allowed in the classroom because they are fun. They do cool tricks. If you spin 2 together they can have a little fight. They’re cool because they have different designs like LED lights.

They help you with distress by how you focus on them. Your eyes try to catch up with the spinner and it gives you something to focus on.

If you play with them sensibly then you won’t get told off. There needs to be rules around them for them to be OK in the classroom.

Rule 1: Don’t let strangers play with your fidget spinner

Rule 2: Make sure they are always in your bag. You can play with them at morning tea and lunch time.

Rule 3: Keep them away from the mat and don’t let them distract you.

That is why you should bring fidget spinners to school.

In class we watched the trailer ’’A dog's purpose.’’we then talked about what we thought dog’s purpose was.

What is a dog’s purpose. Here are my ideas.

To make us laugh and they know when we are sad. They like to play games like Fetch and bring sticks back for us. Some dogs save people by smelling smoke in a fire and pulling people out of rivers when they are about to drown. I Love my dog.

The Easter Egg Hunt 04.04.17

Easter is a holiday and sometimes my Mum puts chocolate eggs on me, as a trick.

My Mum hides hints everywhere around the house and in the garage so we can find where she has hidden our eggs.

We swap our chocolate eggs we have found sometimes because my little brother likes to steal our chocolates.

It is fun, finding our eggs.

The Fire

In class we have been learning to write recount about the Post Hills fire. Here is mine.

The furious fire

It was a normal day but something

was not right. On the port hills a furious fire which started from an electrical fault made one big fire. Trees were demolished, and houses were made into smithereens. People were sad and homeless I was scared because of the fire and then finally the fire stopped burning and I felt relieved. By Lachlan.
